i want to major in business and maybe get a mba later on

Same thing I said in the Penn thread.

Your GPA will need to be recomputed using Michigan's formula. Strength of curriculum important, but no weighting of grades. Freshmen year grades not included in calculation. No + or -...straight scale...A=4, B=3, etc. Only core academic courses factored in, math, science, english, social studies, foreign language. Even so, your GPA seems low for OOS. Numbers are most important part of app. Are you recruitable in any of your sports at the Big 10-D1 level? You might consider sending in the online recruiting forms to the various U-M coaches in your sports to gauge interest.

You're in. Without those freshman grades, your GPA will be fine.

The discounting of the frosh gpa will help you a lot. I think you're in LSA easily. I'm not sure about scholarship $$ though. As for Ross, it's a crapshoot, but you definitely have a shot.

You should get into LSA. Michigan doesn't really give out much merit aid though. You will probably have to take out loans and stuff.
