Do you think I have a chance to be accepted to this school, if you believe I can get accepted and that there is a high possibility, what do you I will get in regards to financial aid/scholarships (Parents combine to make less then 80,000 dollars a year)

i want to major in business and maybe get a mba later on

Slight reach.

For financial aid - can't give you an estimation unless we knew the breakdown of your tax returns or your EFC.

are you in state or OOS?

I would chance you but, I try to avoid threads like these... in any case I just thought I would offer a few words of "wisdom":

1.) UC's make you calculate your UC GPA which only takes sophomore and junior year grades into account. With that being said, just be sure to keep up with your grades through the rest of this year.

2.) Just FYI: UC's do not accept letters of rec. for their applications (so, try not to put too much weight on LORs getting you in, since they aren't accepted.)

leebg91:

UCLA: Match

UCLA: High Match

r u oos or in-state. and quick question. can i apply for residency even though i live in ny.

and whATs your class rank.

OP is OOS (NJ)

I'm putting you as a reach, unless the GPA is drastically different when calulated to UC standards

With a 2310 and what looks to be a 3.8-3.9ish UC GPA and more than enough ECs, I think you're a match regardless or residency status.

You are a straight up match. My stats are a lot worse than yours (4.0 ucgpa, 1990 SATs, 700/690 SatII) and I got in, as an Asian female.

i'm guessing you were in-state though? ^^^
