Accepted or Denied?

<p>So I applied for Macaulay Honors as a general freshman for fall 2012 and today, I checked my application status on portal cuny. I got this message:</p>

<p>Your application is complete.
An admissions decision has been made by the college(s) listed on your application.</p>

<p>Please note that the Macaulay Honors College is currently reviewing
your application as a University Scholar, and will mail admissions decisions on March 15th.</p>

<p>Does this mean I got accepted to at least one of the colleges since the application goes through two pools (first general freshman and then honors)? If I didn't get accepted to any of the choices as general, Macaulay honors would not be viewing my application, correct?</p>

<p>General Admissions is based primarily on your high school average and SAT score.
For most students applying to Macaulay, they are already well above the general admission criteria.</p>

<p>did you find out if you were accepted as a general freshman to any of the colleges on your MHC list?</p>

<p>You should have gotten regular letters in the mail/emails stating your status. Assuming you have an 85+ average and around 1800+ SATs, there shouldn’t be a problem with any regular CUNY.</p>

<p>The first round of Macaulay decisions is actually being sent out in the next 3 days (I have a contact at UAPC and Hunter’s Macaulay board). You applied a bit later so you’ll probably get yours sometime next week.</p>

<p>ALL Macaulay applicants will be notified of their admission decision from Macaulay Honors College by only ONE of the college choices listed on their application on March 15th (if by email) or postmarked March 15th (if sent by mail). NO Macaulay decision will be released before that date. The method of notification may vary by campus. You may want to check with your 1st choice campus as to their method of notifying their applicants.</p>

<p>Weird… The person I know at UAPC said some decisions are already being sent.</p>

<p>Re #10: Yea I found out that I got into Hunter as a general freshman, just waiting to see if i made it into MHC, which I have a feeling I did.</p>
