Hey guys trying to get an general idea of the class profiles for suny school so post your stats and what schools you applied to and did you get in or not. Feel free to add anything else reguarding suny schools

High school gpa was about a 85 (low I know)
SATs, CR-600 M-520
I have a lot of leadership roles in my school and got letters of rec from my principle and dean (I’m well like at my school)
I’ve been accepted into old westbury, plattsburgh, cortland, and buffalo state
Still waiting for oneonta that’s my number one choice

Accepted to New Paltz, Oneonta, and Fredonia
around a 3.3 unweighted gpa and a 25 ACT
Lower end of the spectrum for New Paltz but I have a lot of extracurricular and awards with a lot of leadership positions. great recommendations and a really strong essay.

3.0 1730-1750 SAT Tons of EC’s decent recs over 600+ hours paid work exp
Accepted Oswego
Plattsburgh says probably but wants midyear grades
Deferred Albany
Rejected Oneonta. (no big deal, their business program isn’t that great)

I do not want to hijack this thread and I am sorry you were not accepted at Oneonta Seniors2102.

But I disagree with you concerning Oneonta’s business program. It has AACSB accreditation. Its accounting students are regularly placed in the top 4 accounting firms (Ernst & Young, Deloitte, etc.) and its business majors are getting some great internships and placements at companies like JPMorgan.

Its business program is one of the best in the SUNY system.

1590 combined SATs, high school average around 90. Awesome extracurriculars and international student (went to an art high school in Italy until Senior year).

Still waiting on Geneseo, Cornell and the CUNYs.

MindOnMars12, can you tell me when you applied? My son is still waiting to hear from New Paltz, which is his first choice - we’re getting anxious? Also - do you know if your online portal message reflects the acceptance? My son’s still says: Your application is complete and a decision will be made shortly. Thank you for your patience.
