Anything else?

Transfers won’t get their decisions until May/June/July so you are a bit early in asking this. I’d advise you to go back and read the older transfer threads to find out what stats got people accepted as a transfer.

It is good advice to read the posts from last year about the transfer admission process on the the USC transfer thread.

I was able to find this general information regarding transfers to SC for the incoming class of 2008-2009. There were 8300 applicants. Enrolled were 1500. Of that number 19% were from colleges outside of California and 6% were from private colleges in California.

If I can find statistics for the class of 2009-2010 I will add to this thread.

great. thanx! if u guys have any links to find those stats, u can post it on here. im not sure how to find those kinds of things without searching page by page. and anyone can post on here from the years before, not just this years. thats why i asked it early. but i guess i can repost later, after i find out im rejected haha

thank u! but im still baffled…how can ppl get in with lower a 3.0 gpa from hs to NYU (which is similar to USC)? i actually tried when i was in hs so did i basically just waste my time? yeah…it looks better when im older to have good grades and look back on that, but if they accept transfer with low hs stats, isnt that kinda not worth it? also my hs stats are 4.11 weighted, 3.73 uw and 1850 on sats. with those stats, i have a low chance of getting in especially cuz i put one of the most challenging majors on my app. (some say that doesnt matter but i think it does becuz we had a cal state admissions guy come to our school and he said they seperate it into majors). however, would i have a good chance if i transferred?

my college gpa right now is 3.46 or sumthing becuz ive taken classes during high school. ill probly do a lot better when im not in high school taking classes simultaneously, so will they take that into account? a lot of ppl get 4.0s in community. : /
