I'm in Mass and still nothing.

accepted (17k scholarship) way back with personal app
1250/1600 SAT (at the time)
3.91 UW GPA (at the time)

I have a 1450 and a 3.93 now, but tulane has never seen these

3.8, 2040 Waitlisted! I should have applied early!

satosfam, if ur gpa is 3.8 uw i have a hard time believing they'd waitlist you! If it's 3.8W, diff. story tho.

at honors weekend a couple weeks go they said they had to stop accepting regular applications because they had too many. there were over 34,000 applications this year

oh.. and for stats..

accepted early action with full-tuition dean's honor scholarship:

33 act, valedictorian, national merit commended, kodak young leaders award, summer/spring break programs at JHU/Northwestern, hugh o'brien, coca cola scholars, bunch of local awards, varsity basketball captain, varsity track captain, track individual state qualifier, 97.52/100 uw gpa, and we never find out our weighted gpa

i finally heard i was waitlisted. i'm kinda sad about it, but at the same time i was pretty sure it was coming, seeing the quality of other candidates that were waitlisted. i'm going to stay on it and hope for the best. good luck to everyone else!

my gpa was 3.45/weighted 3.8 something
(full ib diploma candidate)
700cr/690w/640m
some of eveything for ecs
good essay (i think)
great reccomendations

I think they had no idea the popularity of those personal aps and the Early, EARLY, EA applications had a way easier go of it. When we got accepted in November...it didn't seem like they waistlisted or rejected ANYONE. People applying in December who got waitlisted not only woud have been accepted in October...they would have had money thrown at them.

That said
ACCEPTED via early personal ap/$24,000 a year
UW GPA 3.7 W 4.27
SAT I 770R 720 W 560M
SAT II: US hist 780 LIT 740
Great rec's
Kick butt (optional) essay
Strong EC's

Are you planning on running here? If so, send me a message (I'm very rarely checking this site anymore, but I'll definitely get back to you).

Wow, I feel so relieved that I applied ea. I got 24k a year. I am to graduate cum laude w/ a 4.4w (3.7U). However, my sat's were a bit low. 690 math, 720 Verbal, 660 writing. I just got waitlisted at Rice, so I may be going to Tulane afterall.

i'm also extremely relieved that i applied early.
660 math 650 cr 680 writing
3.77W 3.4UW
tons of ecs, president of the class, lots of music activity
no scholarship offer though.

I'm kind of surprised that I received the offer that I did..

I applied in October, found out I was deferred to regular admission (then I sent in my new test scores) and was accepted right away after I sent in my test score (30) and was also offered a $17,000/year scholarship.

Big shocker, because I only have a 3.5 UW/3.65 W GPA.

2040 3.8 gpa(my school uses a 7pt scale vs. 10 pt scale, would be much higher if we had a 10 py) 5 apush 5 eng. lang. 1 Stats credit, taking AP gov exam.
