Accepted SCEA, applying anywhere else?

SCEA acceptees, have you applied/are you planning to apply to other schools? Which ones? Is there any school that would make you say "no thanks" to Stanford?
I'm curious.

the only other school i would apply to is the university of illinois because the cost is so low

nope... :)

MIT, harvard, princeton, and yale, mostly just for kicks because i've already been working on their apps.

did the uc app already, applying to yale for kicks too, and pomona c

I did the UC apps.
Also applied to Dartmouth and MIT.
I think both of those schools would make me say no to Stanford (Dartmouth mainly for the distance from home vs. how close Stanford is). But definitely MIT would.

Harvard, Columbia, Cornell, SUNY Stony Brook. None of them would make me say no to LSJU!!! WOOO!!! :D

I'm still in disbelief. I can't wait to go to school tomorrow, wearing my new sweatshirt!!! :D

I feel like I should apply to one more school just in case my grades drop and Stanford suddenly says no. Extreme paranoia? Or sense?

I'm prob going to apply to MIT, Yale, and Penn just in case i decide in April that I want to be frozen in the winter. However, I am THRILLED with Stanford and will most likely choose it overall.

Only Harvard will cause a change of heart. No other schools can convince me to give up stanford

I am also applying to MIT and Cornell. I like Stanford the most but it is so close to home.

MIT, Yale, and UPenn for me. Just for comparison.

As an average applicant, I just...

I don't know.

It just seems wrong. You guys are doing it for fun, but you're technically taking away someone else's spot if you get in.

You have to realize that many people would love to be in your position, guys...

One of the things I've learned from the forum over the years is that spots belong to "no one" until they belong to someone. And trust me, god forbid an elite college ever had a deficit in number of students utilizing their acceptance, there is always the waiting list. All spots will be filled, and no one applying with the intention of declining will deprive someone of his/her admission.
