<p>so I got the acceptance letter a few days ago, but when I checked my unofficial transcript online, it says that I am in the college of arts and science. I know for a fact that I applied to the school of business... is there anyway I could change this?</p>
<p>That just means that you are not eligible to enter the business school as a freshmen. They will only accept a small number of students who are extremely qualified. Most freshmen enter in the college of arts & sciences.</p>

<p>I don't see why you would want to appeal. Most applicants don't apply to a major until their sophomore or junior year anyway. Plus, it's not like you didn't get in to the University. They only accept a VERY small percentage of students straight into the major, and those students are usually those who would get accepted to Ivy-League schools, and the UW doesn't want to loose them.</p>
