<p>I was just wondering if everyone who was waitlisted was accepted for the Spring or did some just get waitlisted and if anyone knows how it works. Does Northeastern want students to wait until spring and enroll or could we go to another school and then transfer (w.out doing the transfer application)? I haven't heard of being accepted to the next semester until now and it happened to me with Binghamton too so if anyone knows how it works it'd be great. Thanks! =)</p>

<p>Yeah that happened to someone I know, at NEU and U of Maryland I guess.</p>
<p>The explanation they were given was that there is a good amount of seniors who for whatever reason don't graduate with their class, but graduate in the winter of the next year, after an extra semester. Those seniors leaving makes room for some more freshmen I guess?</p>
<p>But I dunno about taking classes somewhere else... They didn't explain in the letter?</p>
