I talked about my summer experience, and my college essay was about Girls Inc and how it changed my life…my mom had abandoned me since I was 2 so I wrote about my depression and how I transformed my self-infliction to motivation for my youth activist work!
[</em>] Teacher Recs: wonderful! I am very shy in class so I usually come after school to discuss things with my teachers, especially my math teachers since I particularly loved math! Although I’m not the brightest in math though, her recommendation was almost 3 pages!

[<em>] Hook (if any): attended SummerLab Biotechnology program at BU Med school, and now part of CityLab Scholars program at BU Med School once a month on a Thursday afternoon from 4-7:30, Girls Incorporated Lucille Miller Wright National Scholar, Corporate Camp National Finalist with Goldman Sachs Corporation, wrote 2 grants which implemented two programs at Girls Incorporated, 1 that granted $10, 000 every year, while another $1, 000 per year, which was the Bubal/Aiken Grant…and of course I’m Black Caribbean: Haitian all day! : )
