are any of you guys going to go? i'm not really sure if i can because its on a monday and only a couple of weeks before APs and i've missed a bunch of school this year already for various school trips/illnesses/etc. i would really like to go tho...

I'm not going. I don't really see the point since it's for ACCEPTED students, not ATTENDING students. It's really more just an open house intended for those who haven't already visited. The schedule is pretty much the same as any open house for prospectives.

true..ive already visited so idt i'll be going to it.

so who is definitely going to hamilton?? i am waiting on a few more schools but probably won't end up going there just bc of the location.. its such a nice school tho.. i wish it was somewhere that wasn't in the middle of no where

I'm def. going (ED admit). I'm really not that worried about the middle of nowhere thing because the campus brings plenty of things to do. Plus there are classes to worry about. My only concern is how "ass-cold" it's going to be. Other than that....I'm psyched.

i'm def. going also :) but adeline already knew that. haha "ass-cold," i believe that's from the "students say" part of princetonreview.com? i'm not obsessed or anything... i might go to accepted students day just for the hell of it, i mean, i still need to head up there to get sweatshirts etc. and it would be cool to see all the other acceptees. who knows.

I am definitely going. I want to meet all the people I am going to school with.

I've decided to go! See you all there! :-)

Im going to be visiting mon-tues(4/17-18). Does anyone know how the overnights are arranged? How do their pair us up with the host students that we'll stay with?

i thought that you could only have overnites on Tues nites. How did you arrange for Mon nite?

Tobey - I think that overnights were only offered to the Bristol and Schambach Scholars for Monday night the 17th because there is a reception and dinner for those students that night. Otherwise, the Accepted Students Day pretty much winds down by 5.

For the open house on the 17th, hamilton is sponsoring a bus from NYC to hamilton. The people who take this bus stay overnight with a host. I signed up for the bus on the myHamilton site. Its currently not taking any more registrations anymore. Here was the description for it :

"We will provide direct, round-trip transportation for a limited number of accepted students from New York City to campus. A Coach USA bus and a Hamilton representative will meet students with reservations at the Port Authority at 7 am on Monday. On Tuesday, the bus will depart from the Bristol Center at Hamilton College at 11 am and arrive in New York at 4 pm. Students who take the bus will be hosted in residence halls on campus by current Hamilton students."
