Accepted Student events?

My D was accepted EA. The letter included a sheet listing "important dates" which mentioned A Spring Preview on Apr 17 at Rose Hill, and it also says "throught Feb we will be hosting a number of on campus events for accepted students." Invitiations will be sent via email & snail.

The family calendar is filling up; I have to man a cookie booth sale with the Girl Scouts; my sister wants to know when to schedule our Dad's memorial Mass, etc etc----does anyone know just when these Feb events are going to be held? I don't want to have committed to other things and then get a letter from Fordham demanding that date from us. Thanks!

Nothing is mandatory. They are all highly recommended. The April event is very good and better weather.

Also, on the bottom of the acceptance letter, they give you a personal contact. You could try emailing him/her if you cannot make an Admitted Student Day and maybe they can set something up.

JRZMom - check email u used for applying. D just got an email 1/2 hour ago from Fordham. Email goes on about how u should have rec’d offer of admission and then lists series of admitted student programs (Sunday, April 17-President’s Spring Preview RH; Feb 22-25 Admitted Student Days; and January 24-April 29 Info Sessions & Campus Tours)

We got the same email! I was prescient with my question!

I think we will try to aim for the Mar. Wed. ones—because I went to their calendar and Feb 22-25 also happens to be exam week. We want to have a chance to talk with current students in a casual way, who are not hurried wrecks up late the night before. Also the weather might be a little better.

Would rather avoid the Apr 17 one, because assuming D will also be accepted RD at some of the other places she applied, we’d rather save the Apr time for visiting those places. They’ll have those days, too.
