<p>Congratulations, caressemh! Where else have you applied, and is SCAD your first choice?</p>
<p>I applied to SVA, Pratt, SAIC, Ringling, MICA, and SCAD. SVA is my first choice but I think I would be happy at any of those schools!</p>
<p>S is accepted at Tyler (with scholarship), University of Cincinnati, and MICA. Waiting to hear from RISD, Pratt and CMU...</p>
<p>Anyone know when we can expect to hear from Pratt?? Going to school in NY is my dream and it's driving me crazy!!!</p>

My daughter applied to Pratt in December (regular decision) but has not yet heard. Best of luck to you !</p>
<p>Does everyone have really great test scores and GPA's or was anyone worried a lower score would hold them back? Also, I loved to hear more from artmom08. I don't hear much about those three schools but they sound small but wonderful.</p>

I literally overnighted my application to Pratt at the last minute and am just praying it got there in time. Good luck to your daughter as well!!</p>

I think your portfolio is the most important part of your application. Most of the schools don't have as high academic expectations as non-art schools or non-art programs. Also everywhere I interviewed were particularly interested in just my English and Writing scores on the act/sat. Which was fortunate because my math scores aren't too great...</p>
<p>I'm also waiting to hear back from Pratt....sent my app in mid-January.</p>
<p>Both Daughters just heard from MICA in the mail today - ACCEPTED</p>

<p>D. received acceptance letters from Clemson University (Fine Arts Program) and Rochester Institute of Technology (Illustration).</p>
