<p>I was really surprised to hear from RPI so early!</p>
<p>For the regular decision people who were just notified was there anything special about your applications that may have brought this about? A friend of mine who is a nationally ranked tennis player found out recently but i have not heard of any other RD people finding out until now.</p>
<p>i heard that they send out the decisions rolling, as soon as they're finished with it, so that's probably why some people are getting it now.</p>

<p>well that's what the admissions officer at the info session i went to said. Once they make a decision, they mail it out to the student.</p>

<p>snailmail, and it was a one page letter, nothing else, no mention of Scholarship/FA. That information most likely comes on March 14th.</p>

<p>So I shouldn't be all too much longer then hopefully. The Last thing RPI received from me is my Transcript, and that was November 28th.</p>
<p>My s has been admitted as an engineering student. He has a Navy ROTC scholarship. Why should he attend RPI over other colleges?</p>
