Accepted students day (Boston area)

Hey guys,

I was recently admitted to Loyola and I was just wondering if anyone is going to attend the Boston area reception thing. I definitely will, but I was wondering if anyone else will?

Our son is a freshman and we went last year. It is a really nice reception. Lots of past and future students attend. You will also find that Loyola has very strong Boston connections. I would highly reccomed attending, you won’t be dissapointed.

^^^^ oops! *disappointed

we plan on attending the boston reception – my son got accepted EA for this year. he is likely to attend.

I think we will attend. My daughter was accepted EA. We are on Cape Cod. April 10th?

does anyone know where the Boston area reception is being held for Loyola New Orleans accepted students? and date/time/place for Loyola Baltimore as well? Thanks! Can’t find it anywhere.

Anne62 - We’re from Cape Cod too! Our son is a freshman at Loyola and loves it!
Last year the reception was at the Marriott Long Wharf - beautiful venue.
Enjoy!

Here’s the link for the Boston reception: [Loyola University Maryland](Page Not Found - Loyola University Maryland)

Too weird…we live on Cape Cod too!!
Applied regular, and very anxiously awaiting merit and fin aid!

Perhaps we can all carpool!

^^^My son is an “Evergreen”, which means he will be one of the students doing the orientations for in-coming freshmen. You “Cape Codders” will need to introduce yourselves!
He really loves it there.

Dear car1954,

My S was accepted EA and due to very important activities (Relay for Life, etc.) he can not make it to either of the two accepted students days offered in April. We plan to visit this weekend, traveling from Massachusetts, in order to work towards making a final decision on fall entry. A very nice admissions counselor is working towards finding a student who would be willing to show our S around campus, but no luck yet. Would your son have any time this weekend to show us around campus? We are very willing to compensate him for his service, if he had the time to offer. Our S is a three sport athlete, but not Division 1 caliber, so he plans to do club and intramural sports. He is also interested in pursuing business/marketing and his hobby is media and television. If your son is tied up, maybe there is a chance he would know of someone with some of these interests that might be willing to show us the campus and the FAC. Thank you for considering!

Warrior123 - I think there is a way to “private message” on here. I will do that and give you his name so that you can mention him to the admissions counselor. I have no idea what is schedule is, but I will give him a heads up.
His is also very into sports, had an injury this year but will play club next year. He’s also a business major.

Thank you car1954. I have private messaged you, now to see if it works.

Thanks again!
