We always seem to talk about our own stats, but never compare to anyone elses. so please tell us what your stats were(extra curriculars, test scores, etc), and what school(s) you were accepted to.

My stats were really good for my state, I was in the 93rd percentile overall. However, I had a few areas where my score was not as strong. I took the SSAT more than once as well, so I don’t really think taking it more than once affects your chances. I think your interviews have more to do with it though, all I remember taking about in my interviews was college football, History, and golf, but the interviewer got to know who I was, and obviously I did something right. Are you in a big city where they offer those special prep classes? I didn’t, but I would’ve gone if there had been one in my state. Extracurriculars, basically eveything I could do, whether it be theater, managing the junior high football team, Boy Scouts, everything that was offered. Again, this is an area where if you live in a big city you have an advantage: Math camps, science camps, etc. are offered and so it gives you more opportunities to show how great you are. I averaged a 4.0 GPA last year, but that does NOT mean I had a four-point all four terms. I believe I only had one for one term, and one term I had like a 3.8.
