<p>So, I pretty much had overkill to get in, but with UHP and IHP there are some pretty cool things. Hoping to go for the University Fellows program also. But with mad cash for National Merit and Bama football, you have a pretty sweet combination.</p>

<p>I was accepted, but I live in Alabama. It's only my safety school, though. Unfortunately, I have not yet heard anything to the other colleges I'm looking at (no rejections, acceptances, or deferrations...and I constantly check the statuses of my applications online), so I might end up at Alabama. I am also worried about financial aid. It seems I would have heard about merit based scholarships now, but I'm not sure. I have not filled out FAFSA yet, but I did fill out Alabama's scholarship application. Does anyone have any helpful information?</p>

<p>I'm down to Bama and Ohio State and I got into both with a 3.1 GPA, OOS, 1240/1740 SAT and good EC's.</p>
