Accepted students, are you guys applying to any other schools? If so, which ones?

I don’t think I’m applying anywhere else. I just have to call about financial aid since they didn’t get my NCP waiver. As long as I get some sort of estimate before January 1st I’m accepting.

I think I’m guaranteed a full-ride because of my low family income, but the other schools I’m strongly considering and applying to are:

Yale (for its community)
Princeton (best undergrad program, and TAs don’t teach classes)
Columbia (I love NYC)
UPenn (I love Philadelphia and my sister lives there; they’re also recruiting me)
UChicago (I love the intellectual vibe)
Williams and Amherst (best schools for undergrad)
Emory (For their Scholars program)

I’m torn between so many amazing schools. I honestly don’t know what I’m going to do come April.

Yale (for its music and proximity to my home (in CT))
Princeton (for its community)

I might apply to Yale for kicks. I also really liked Dartmouth. So maybe those two, although the chance that I would attend if accepted is slim.

Carnegie Mellon because it has a joint art and compsci degree.
Maybe Princeton because my brother, a sophmore at harvard, tells me it’s a nice community.

Unfortunately, nowhere. I would LOVE to go to Columbia or Yale, but I won’t even be applying. Honestly, I wouldn’t be able to explain myself to anyone, including myself, after getting into Harvard. And I REALLY don’t want to write any more supplement essays. I know it seems shallow, but…

Congratulation to every accepted students.
I am applying for regular admission. My GPA is 3.7 (weighted ) in my school and have graduated with a first rank. Also, my math and science GPA are 4 and my standard test score is very high. My teachers gave me very good recomms and I have very good extracurricular activities…

It is the first time that I am applying for Harvard College.
I would like to hear about chance of my acceptance.
