Ok got my responses back and decided on Loyola! Post on this chain if you're probably going, where you're from, and major. I'm Danielle from New York and I"m going for Psychology and Pre-med. So excited about going, love the campus!

I was accepted EA and Loyola has been my second choice all the way, but I only got waitlisted at UVA, my #1 choice. So most likely I'll be in Baltimore next year and am very excited if I do end up at Loyola. My name is Justin and I'm from PA. Right now, I think I'm going to major in Economics and pre-law hopefully, although that is not what I put on my app. because I have changed my mind since filling out the app. in nov.

D29, would you mind posting your stats. My D was waitlisted, to our surprise. Her stats were all way above their averages. She was accepted to more selective colleges. I'm not sure what happened. She loves Loyola, even though it was her safety. She really wants to go there.

Thanks!

ocmom, I had a 1350 SAT, a 4.0, took AP and honor classes, president of student council and other good ec's including volunteer work. Hope your daughter gets in! Nice to meet ya Justin!

Trying to choose between Loyola, Bucknell, and Fordham. I know, all very different...any thoughts, anyone?

Loyola is not diverse.

It depends on what you want to study... some colleges are better for certain majors than others. Bucknell isn't diverse either. Personally, I think Loyola's in a nicer location than Bucknell. Of course, I'm more partial to Loyola... so my advice is to pick Loyola!

I haven't made my final decision yet. Loyola is one of the schools I liked from what I researched but I never had a chance to go visit before applying. I definitely want to go see it before I make a final choice, but unfortunately I can't make it this weekend for admitted students.

Does anyone know if they offer overnight visits? Or rather, is there any chance of doing one at this point? Txs!

I'm not sure if they do overnight visits.. best option is to email the admissions and ask them. Hope ya like the campus!

I got in. But I'm not too sure if I want to go. I don't like Maryland much.

I'm deciding between Loyola and Salisbury. I like Salisbury a lot but everyone's telling me to go to Loyola because of the reputation, so that's probably where I'll go. It seems like there should be no competition but I can start as a sophomore if I go to Salisbury and like I said, I liked it.
And by the way, my name's Kim and I'm from MD. (I live 30 minutes from loyola)
