Accepted Students

Yeah Northeastern's COOP program and location are desirable. Do you think NEU is respected by companies (specifically for business)?

When do they let you know about merit aid?

i just found out i got in today. bouve college 6 year pharmacy program. 1200 sat 3.2 gpa, honors and ap. african american female. nj resident. yes please when do you find out about financial aid??

yayyyy i got in too! the letter came today, i was expecting it a lottt later

3.3 gpa, 1200 SAT
english major

i am soo excited right now

i just got in too! im pretty excited, i didnt think it was gonna be out west so soon.

anyways i got in with a 29 act and 3.8 gpa.

***...how did I get deferred or as they put it "moved to the non-EA applicant pool" w/ a 3.6 UW and 1240? People on here have lower stats. hmmm... And Northeastern was sorta my match/safety. This is upsetting to say the least.

They said they need me to send in my midyr report and any updated scores. This is ********. The OP had a 3.1 UW and 1230.

On top of that, I had excellent EC's...lots of leadership roles.

Political Science
3.3 GPA, 1280 SAT

I got into the College of Engineering. It's funny how they put "Congratulations" on the front of the envelope. I am already in at Lehigh though so I will not be going. Nice job to those of you who did.

Parikhs, did you have a 3.6 in an easy courseload maybe? Or did you apply to a program with limited slots?

Was NEU the first choice school for you others who got in?

3.6 UW in all honors and a few AP classes. I applied to the business program, so I'm not sure if its more competitive than the rest. Did anyone here get into the business program?

i got in too!
criminal justice
3.9 GPA, 1190 SAT (math and verbal, 1910 w/ writing)

i am so happy right now! i think i might call the honors office though when the offices open again just to inquire, not that it really matters to me but if i can convince them to accept me into the honors program as well that would be awesome.

omg! lol! i just cant believe im posting in an "acceptance" forum! congrats and/or good luck to everyone else!

P.S. im not sure if ill be going. im gonna wait to hear from some other schools but if i get tired of waiting...lol. anyways its up there ;)

accepted as well. lower stats though. 1100 sat and 27 act. not sure if i'm going to go here though. ahh decisions.

yayy good job everyone. im so proud of us

accepted

1380 SAT

class rank 20/221

weighted gpa: 4.42

I got in too - College of Arts and Sciences w/ Communications major.

However, I won't be going to NU because I am going to their in-city rival BU (much stronger in communications). I learned that the admissions dept. send my decision the day before I told them I was withdrawing my app.

Hey, when will you be told about your financial aid status??

I got accepted as well into Art and Science w/ 1360 SAT and 3.6 GPA. I also got into the honors program so this makes my decision whether to attend that much difficult.

The packet says mid-March to mid-April is when you get your financial aid, after you file the FAFSA and CSS.

I still don't get how I got deferred...did anyone here apply to the business program?

emhoffman, pls let me know what they say about the honors college. My S has a 3.5 and a 1420 and didn't get offered that program. It would make a difference to us.

parikhs, You're as bad as I am! Delete some of your PM's, please. Trying to send to you.

e.

i got my acceptance yesterday. i applied to northeastern as a safety school, and i'm really glad that i got in. that takes a lot of the pressure off. :) i got into the college of business administration as a management major w/ a 3.6 uw gpa and a 1530 (old scale) on the SATs. i also got into the honors program. when do we find out about any financial aid/merit aid? because there is no way i can attend if i don't get merit aid, and i don't know if they tell you in this letter or later on in the future.
