Hello, I'm currently a junior in high school and GWU is my top choice. I'm going to apply to GWU next fall for ED and I just want to see how the stats are of the accepted students. So if you have been accepted this EDI, please post your stats! They would be a great help and give me more insight on what I should pick for my classes next year. Also, please post your SAT scores so I know what I should try to aim for.

Please & thank you for your help :D It's greatly appreciated.

My daughter and a few of her close friends were admitted ED1 this year. All of them had stats that were right around 600-630 on the SAT parts, and all had GPAs around 3.8W with a number of APs. They all went to competetive high schools and participated in a lot of activities, including leadership roles. Most of them applied to CAS and one to Elliot. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Actually the stats will not help this incoming year, because due to a record number of applicants, ED students that got in this year may not do so later on.

Hi Dana. Yes, she did do an interview. My older daughter who is a sophomore at GW did not, and got in with similar stats in RD. Not much other advice, ED is nice if you know this is where you want to be because you find out so early. It has really lowered the pressure around here. As far as classes, I would not pick them for a particular college, just take the most challenging classes that you enjoy. Older daughter is quite happy there, doing her first internship this semester and very busy with school and activities.

And Syyan4, they post online. A few days before they send an email with the posting date and time (which my daughter never got… but it is also on the admissions facebook site), and then they put up the decisions all at the same time on the GW Admissions Activity Center site.
