Did you apply for summer or were you given summer? If you were given summer instead of fall, my son has ZERO chance of getting in. You have great stats! Congratulations.

I applied for summer, I applied everywhere I could for summer. Wanna get the lay of the land before I start. I think its a good idea.

That was probably a good strategy. I’m hoping that if my sons top schools that he applied to don’t offer him fall that they will offer him summer instead. He has a 4.0 GPA but only got a 23 on the ACT. He’s taking again at the end of October but I’m not sure he will do much better.

He has a 4.0 and only got a 23 on the act? That’s a bit odd. He should study a bit I bet he could do alot better. Get him the red book and tell him to go thru it.

Good luck to him.

I applied for summer today. What are my chances? GPA 3.3-3.4 25 ACT all honors and IB classes. Be honest please

accepted as well! 3.7 and 24 act! summer term

scratch that, 26 superscored!

Thoughts… Advice please. :)

I know highschjunior, it is odd. Unfortuntely he did study. :-(

Those of you that have been accepted- how long did you have to wait to find out after they received all of your documents?

couple weeks!!! I looked on line though. Didnt wait for mail. I was accepted to UCF awhile ago and just received it in mail yesterday.

It’s been over a month since my last document was received… and I’m still waiting.

@seekinguni, according to the website thy don’t make any decisions until October… Which means they’ve only been admitting for 4 days now. Patience, young grasshopper it took them 2 months to admit me, an I was valedictorian with a 4.7 and 32 ACT… Lol

hmmm i should apply soon…

^^^ Ask yourself-----
W H Y W A I T ???

My status says that they’ve received my ACT scores, but not official transcript. How is this possible if my high school sends both at the same time?

The scores need to come from ACT directly, not your high school.

Be honest, i have a weighted GPA of 3.7 and an ACT composite of 25. I applied and have had the whole application in since September 23, would i have heard back by now? Do these grades seem good enough to get accepted?

^^^^^^^^^^
Your stats are in the average range for those applicants that will probably be accepted to USF. That being said, in my opinion, you have an average change of gaining admission into USF. If you applied to the summer term, then your chances are slightly higher. Suggestion, since USF has a rolling admissions policy, I’d strongly suggest to retake your ACT/SAT and obviously an increased score on your ACT/SAT will definitely increase your changes for admissions. Good Luck !
