I’m a bit overwhelmed with all the stuff that’s yet to do. Wolverine Access is very confusing and doesn’t help at all. What is there that is to be done prior to arriving in Ann Arbor?
Set up your uniqname, sign-up for housing, sign-up for summer orientation (for both you and your parents), and relax knowing that you are going to have some of the best/valuable years of your life at Michigan!
Also submit a picture online for your M-card and eventually take some online placement tests.
You will get an email soon with instructions to set up your uniqname. Then about a day or two after you set up your uniqname you will be able to register for orientation (if you try too soon it will tell you that your uniqname is not recognized). The orientation registration process will take you through some explanatory steps that will clear a lot of things up for you.
This is the point where my D is – now we are waiting for the email from housing, which will alert us that she can apply for housing. (Already tried but still getting that “uniqname not recognized” thing).
We applied for housing. He still has to upload a pic for the M card.
where can I sign up for online placement tests?
