accepted - > industrial engineering...
question, i changed my mind and want to do business, can i ask them to consider me for that?

I think you have to go through a year, and then try to transfer over. Its pretty tough to get into business though

but isnt engineering just as selective as business at UIUC?

Why do business? Engineering is so much more fun! :)

But anyways, if you truly intend to change your major to business, just take the required classes listed on Business college. You probably need somethlng like 3.5 gpa also. The transfer usually takes after you have completed 60 semester hours.

coz i just found out that i suck at physics after this year's AP physics...even tho i got into industrial engineering i m sure i still have to do some physics there...

To be honest, I think you should try one semester of engineering curriculum before you decide that its not for you.

There are a lot of people who didn't even take AP physics during their high school years. Also, since you are already exposed to the material, physics shouldn't be that bad second time around. I am not sure about the industrial engineering department, but as a CS major, I believe that most engineering majors only require 3 semesters(equivalent to 10 credits) of physics, which is not that bad.

Accepted- BUSINESS i applied after priority deadline... yes finally a solid backup... plus its cheap for me

Accepted - Mechanical Engineering
