I was accepted as well (Park for journalism)! I saw on myIthaca account on Monday that I was accepted and I received my acceptance letter in the mail today. I applied regular decision. I also received 18k for the Presidential Scholarship!

My D got the acceptance letter in the mail today. Park for Journalism. Some scholarship, don’t remember exact amount. Very nice Christmas present!

Thanks Snowflake, but it didn’t make the 3 deferrerals any easier for her to take, especially when one of them was her number one choice. Everything happens for a reason, and I don’t think her number one was the best fit for her.

Regardless, I’m happy that she got good news from VUM, Ithaca, and Univ. of Hartford.

Yes, everything happens for a reason. My S is waiting to hear from a few … a student ambassador from Ithaca sent him a congrats ICpeers comment a few days ago, but he hasn’t heard anything in the mail or online, so he asked her if she knew something he didn’t know. When he checked the comment a few hours later, her comment was removed on ICPeers. Oops!

Our snail mail is really confused here in VT … I’m receiving mail in my mailbox from not only my neighbors, but also for a friend that lives 2 towns over, so I’m wondering who is getting my son’s college mail. : ) Hopefully after the holiday season winds down my neighbors will drop off our mail that landed in their boxes.

snowflake, don’t know if this helps for your son, but the Ithaca account for my daughter still says basically incomplete and that they are waiting for mid term grades. And there’s nothing on there to say that she was accepted. We just got the “big envelope” in the mail yesterday giving her the good news. So hang in there. And yes, I hope your neighbors drop off your mail soon, especially if they see it’s from a college!

mom23, My son’s online account was updated last week and then hardcopy came a few days later. I wonder if one of my neighbors had it for a few days? He let the student ambassador know that he was finally official. He just now submitted the Leadership scholarship online, so I’ll keep my fingers crossed for him. Congrats to petetheturtle and CaseyL … a great option for you to consider!

Came home to a large envelope from Ithaca - hoping it was an acceptance, but it was just a big brochure! If my son isn’t accepted after receiving this, it seems kind of cruel that they sent it !
