What you're looking forward to the least about Bates: The coooooooold! I'm no stranger to cold (born in NJ, moved to IL, then to MA, and eventually to CA... where it's not as cold) but I've become a wimp since I've lived here, and I've only ever been to Maine in the summertime!

Why Bates? I actually visited campus on freshmen orientation day last sept and our tour guide took us to the orientation picnic so that we could see the Bates community "in action". Its was so cute- everyone was soo excited to be there and start college. It seemed like Bates had a really interesting and friendly student body. Plus, I love Maine, it has a beautiful campus and stellar academics.
Possible major/academic interests: English, History, Russian perhaps??
Interests and hobbies: Traveling, horseback riding, a cappella, backpacking/ camping
