<p>Two of my friends just got in today! I’m shocked that they’re releasing decisions so soon… I have a feeling stronger applicants are notified first though because they’re both really strong students.</p>
<p>I agree. My friend who is a relatively strong applicant got accepted today where I was not notified. So I think they’re filling up with higher stats now.</p>
<p>hm got an email saying my status changed and i went online and it said it was accepted. Too bad its not UCLA</p>

<p>Everyone I know who got in is not an ELC applicant, but still around the top 10% of our graduating class.</p>
<p>I don’t know if this is true or not but I think that they are accepting those with good stats AND those who had relatively good scores (SATs) first. These are only to those who SCORE REPORTED first.</p>
<p>When it was December and everyone was anxious to see their SAT scores, people looked up the received scores by Irvine. My friend who has lower stats then me had his SAT score of around 1900 published by Irvine’s website. I however, didn’t see my most recently reported score of 2080 up there yet and DIDN’T get the status change yet. That is my theory, but who knows, maybe more and more people who get notifications soon.</p>
