<p>Congrats to you The Reserved! My son is still waiting to hear. His test scores are higher and his UCGPA is 4.26, but nothing yet. He applied to Materials Engineering and BIomed as second choice. Not as many Ecc as you most likely, but good essays.</p>

<p>He’s in!!! My son just got the accepted e-mail to Irvine for Materials Engineering.
That feels really good knowing that he now will have at least a choice of Irvine and Cal Poly (accepted there last week). We think that he should also get in to Davis. Too bad they don’t let you know until the end of March.</p>

It’s weird, though. I didn’t get an email to check my status- I just logged into my UCI account because I saw the threads on CC, and got the “You have been admitted to UC Irvine” sign. It wasn’t like that when I checked earlier today, though, so maybe it’ll take awhile for the email to get sent.</p>
