<p>Anyone know how they choose honors program applicants? I really thought I’d be chosen, I had 4.5, 4.0, and an ACT of 31, with tons of EC and volunteering. Just curious, I’m happy to be accepted to engineering at least. :)</p>

<p>I got in and was completely shocked. I’m out of state and have decent stats, but I knew only like 5% of out of state applicants get in! Unbelieveably suprised, but even more excited! Any other OOS?</p>

<p>I am surprised that the last 5 or so “i got accepted” post are OSS. Maybe UCI is starting with the OSS first since they are like they main source of money, just a theory. congrats to everyone.</p>
<p>I got the actual letter in today, after the email showed up a few weeks ago. My weighted UC GPA was around 4.3 or so, 2130 on the SAT, resident of California, etc. First acceptance letter :D</p>

<p>Just checked this morning (4am) and I was finally admitted to Chemistry! In state, 3.81 GPA (3.6 or something UC), 2020 SAT (1380 Reading/Math), tons of ECs and leadership, and a personal statement that made my AP English teacher laugh and cry. lol</p>
