I think the athletics is really going to help you. The rest of your EC’s are great and I don’t see any problems with your academics other than I think your ACT could be higher.

Boston College- Accepted EA to CSOM - Congrats!
Villanova - Safety
Duke - high match
Vanderbilt - match
UNC - match/high match
Cornell (AEM) - mid reach

would you mind chancing me http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/873104-william-mary-notre-dame-other-top-tier-schools.html

Thanks for the chance. I’m chancing you back right now

Does athletics really make a difference even if I’m not going to play on the team and haven’t been recruited?

Does anyone want to answer my question if able to, or just chance me in general?

Boston College- Accepted EA to CSOM - Congrats!
Villanova - match
Duke - low reach (Duke is just like this for everyone. Their recruitment is comparable to that of the Ivies)
Vanderbilt - match
UNC - Depends, in state- high match, out of state- match/ low reach
Cornell (AEM) - It really depends on how you write your essays. You have the grades and the ec’s. There will be other applicants like you, but if your essay helps set you apart, you could have a nice shot. I say low reach, but it’s like this for everyone. I can’t think anyone apart from the perfect candidate who would be a match for this.

Thanks for the chance

Bump
just a request, please don’t put will chance back in your thread title when you
never chance back

congrats on bc! did you get into the honors program? i would say that you’re pretty much in to all those places with such good stats except perhaps cornell cause all of the ivies are a crapshoot.

BC - Nice!!
Villanova - Probably in, I knew people with worse stats that got in.
Duke -Low Reach… Doable, though
Vanderbilt - Probably in, same as Nova
UNC - In state = In. OOS = Low reach
Cornell (AEM) - Really a toss up… Hard to predict, but depending on your essays you are in good shape.

Thanks for the chances. No I’m not in honors at bc, when I applied my act score was a 30 and I raised it to a 32 after I was accepted.

Good chances at all of those places.

Chance me at Chance???

Haha thanks for the chance

I’ll chance you back

Congrats on BC!
I would say you’re in to every school on your list. I’d say that both Duke & Cornell are slight crapshoots, because they have about the same acceptance rate, I’d say. But your’e definitely competitive, and hopefully your essays help you stand out. Good luck!!!

Thanks for the chance. I know my stats are just average for duke and Cornell but I think my essays were very good so I really hope they give me the extra boost. Does anyone know if it would be better to attend BC CSOM or major in economics at duke If I’m accepted? Which would be better for eventual job placement in the business world and acceptance to a top 10 MBA program?

Thanks for the chance. I’m chancing you back right now

howd u check BC status, or u recieved an email from them? i never never heard from them
