Accepted to Binghamton through EOP but pursuing Accounting major

Hey guys,
I recently got accepted to Binghamton through the EOP program. That's the good part, the problem is that in my application I chose accounting as my intended major and I got accepted to Harpur as an undecided. When I called them up hey told me that I got switched because freshmen EOP students can't be admitted to professional schools.
Now, I'm torn in my decision. I'm really set on becoming an accountant but I don't know how possible that would be at Bing (I heard IUT to SOM is really hard).
My grades aren't really low. My GPA was an 88 out of 100, which I increased dramatically my junior year when my GPA was a 94. My SAT wasnt good, M 610 R 540 W 580. Academically I was barely eligible for EOP.
My other options are Baruch, Albany, Buffalo, Siena, and Hofstra where I got accepted as a regular accounting student.
Sooo, what do you guys think I should do. I really love Binghamton (I visited last week and I loved it). They're accounting program is one of the best and the university is too. Plus, I would receive 17 thousand in financial aid. But, I'm afraid I won't be accepted into SOM as a transfer and basically lose a year when I could've been working on my accounting degree elsewhere.
If anyone can help me out I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

I think that’s what it is for freshman admitted students right? Most of College do that and you will choose ur program after 2 years of lower division. So you could apply to School of Management after 2 years  I’m transferring to Binghamton Management school in Fall :)

Hey nyygk10, which school did you attend? I’m in the exact same situation you were in. Thanks!
