My S just found out via application tracker that he was accepted to the CLA however he applied to the Carlson school. Does this mean he was rejected from Carlson as an incoming freshman or is there a chance he is still also being considered for Carlson? He hasn’t received anything official in the mail yet-just the CLA acceptance notification via application tracker. Is there anything that can be done in order for him to still be considered for CSOM as a freshman based on others’ past experiences? He knows it is very hard to transfer to CSOM as a sophomore and he is exclusively focused on a business degree.
@mominminny - I expect that he was only accepted for CLA and not Carlson - possibly though it is a Carlson deferrall. Certainly call Admissions today and ask them what it means. They are extremely helpful - especially to admitted applicants.
