accepted to CLA but postponed for the business school

<p>has anyone else been in my position? any success stories?</p>

<p>part of the problem may have been that i filled out the fast application. I'm a good writer and I'm not sure my stats alone are enough to push me through</p>

<p>*ACT:28
*GPA: 3.95 i think
*Many and varied ECs: Track and Field (Team Captain, League Champ), Orchestra, Volleyball, NHS, ect
*URM if that means anything</p>

<p>the school said they tend to accept a good amount of postponed students so there might be some hope there</p>

<p>I got accepted right away with a 3.9 gpa 29 ACT a ton of ECs. So I would say you will more than likely get in :)</p>

<p>GPA: 3.44 UW, 3.8-3.9 W
Class Rank: Top 15%</p>

<p>3.83 UW 2nd semester of Junior year, 3.67 UW 1st semester of Senior year
(Huge upward trend from Freshman Year)</p>

<p>All together took 6 APs, 4 APs Senior year, got 2 A's and 2 B's in AP classes</p>

<p>ACT: 30 (33E, 29M, 32R, 24S), 31 (superscored) =>Science 29</p>

<p>ECs:
-Golf is my passion: although I not the best at it, I've done a bunch of activities involving it
-Golf JV (9-10), V (11-12)
-DECA (10-12)
-P.E. Leader (10-12)
-Tutor (11-12) (got 100+ hours)
-Track JV (9-10)
-Band (9-10)
-Theater Crew (9)</p>

<p>My friend was accepted to CLA and postponed to Carlson, one week later he got accepted to Carlson, same ACT and about same GPA.</p>

<p>I was postponed from CBS but got into CLA, so definitely in the same position as you. I still haven't heard anything back, and I've had my decision since December.</p>
