Accepted To GSP-Florence...Anyone Else?

bump bump bump

FBI..I'm wondering about the same things...

Can you get to Florence with a group or something like that?

Not sure but i'll try and find out...it would be really helpful if you could.

bump...........

Well I am now going with 100% certainty, so I'll see you guys there.

Our son is planning on going to the Florence program. Are there any students from the US who want to coordinate their flights over to Florence in late-August? He would be flying in from Oregon. We were thinking about flying to NYC for a few days before sending him off to Florence.

I'll be flying in from San Francisco.

DSTDOR. I live in NY and I will be leaving from here so we could coordinate flights.

hey, i'm a US citizen living in Singapore but since i've never actually lived in the states i guess that makes me about as international as it gets.. but yeah, a friend of mine and i were accepted into the GSP program, at first i was a bit skeptical about it.. got my acceptence way back in Febuary and i decided at the beginning of april to accept it after i got the package and read through it (sounds pretty interesting) - i think i got into this program instead of CAS because ive only done two years of lab science - but the program sounds like alot of fun so why not. Any one else from this side of the world going off to florence next year?

Also, for sophmores on this page who've already completed the freshman year in florence - whats the day to day life like? i was skeptical because of the fact that there are only 130 or so odd students there which is less than my high school class so i was a bit... hmm.. and.. i've been to florence before so i know its gorgeous beyond belief but whats the "fun" stuff to do there because lets be honest, you wanna do more then just go to art museums and churches in college right?

bump........

Well I got an e-mail asking if I wanted to change from the Florence program to the program in NYC...and I accepted the offer. Anyone else get the same message?

bump........

Our son got the same email that you did to change from Florence to NYC. He decided to go to the Florence program.

im going to NYC
Florence was a perfect option but I want to study abroad in Madrid...

bump bump bump

at first i thought it was too surreal for me to attend nyu, especially in florence, so i think i made a big mistake...I accepted acceptance to Univ.of Michigan instead. Although I don't think badly at all of UM, i still want to go to NYU. Is it too late for me to send my acceptance fee of $300 for NYU-GSP? SOMEONE PLEASE REPLY ASAP! ...It's 5/31 !!! If i can still sneak my way in, i'd like to go. I also have other questions about the program.

I would call the office of undergraduate admissions.

i was thinking of doing the same thing for UVA - didnt though
but I was always sure NYU was better for me
if you feel the same way ionstead of posting here
call them immedaitely
maybe you still got a chance!
and you may also come directly to NYC like many others from Florence did
but if you declined NYUs offer at first place your chances might be pretty lowww

I'm sending my deposit in and filling out my housing application even though they're late. I think this is the best decision, b/c at least I'll try to get back into it and if they say it's too late then i'll just have to go to UM. If not....then i'll see you guys in florence.

you can actually try NYC if you want to
I know some Florence people were invited to NYC directly (like myself) and chose to go to NYC!!! if there s still room it may be a better option;)
