Didn't go to KU, but am from KC and had many friends who did.

GSP is all female and mostly comprised of sorority members (that's a generalization)

Oliver is a pretty standard, stereotypical residence hall. The rooms are kinda small, but manageable. I think Oliver is closer to classes (always a consideration in Lawrence).

If I remember correctly Templin is the nicest dorms for freshmen...but also pretty expensive.

I think MacCallum is where the Honor floors are, and those floors were kinda boring but the rooms were a little bigger than Oliver.

thanks... anyone else?

Im a freshman at KU right now so i know about most of the dorms. I live in oliver and I love it, the location is so much better than all of the dorms on the hill. Mccolum is the crapiest dorm on campus for sure, Templin, Hashinger, Ellsworth are all suite style which is nice but i personally prefer the traditional style dorms. Hash is known as the artistic dorm so if ur in to that. There is also GSP/ corbin which is an all girls dorm. Most the people I know who live their dont like it because it is so strict.
