Although Penn State is still my number one choice, Ohio State is looking like a serious option. It is the number one engineering school in Ohio

Congratulations.....I have a problem though. I began to apply to OSU today, and when I came to extra-curricular in-school activities, I only have one! And its a sport. Will this hurt me? Heres my stats.....

Out of state
WGPA: 3.9
SAT:1200
ACT: 27
Top 4% in graduating class
And I have good volunteer activities.

Im applying to OSU because of its 8th ranked finance program and its awesome school spirit (and its huge football program doesnt hurt). Does having only one in-school activity hurt my chances from getting in at all? Also, if letters of recommendations arent required, does anybody recommend sending some in? Is it a good idea to do so?
