Accepted to Stern (ED) - could they rescind my offer?

I was accepted to Stern with a 4.06 GPA (junior/senior year), and now I have dropped to a 3.2 with a C in Calculus AB. I applied Early Decision, and therefore have withdrawn my other applications.

Regarding NYU (and Stern) specifically, what are their policies on rescinding offers for academic reasons? Would they only rescind offers if you fail a class, or if your GPA drops significantly? Also, has anyone ever heard of someone getting their offer rescinded from Stern, and if so, how badly did their grades drop? Or would it just be a warning letter/placed on academic probation upon entering the university?

Thanks

You should contact their admission office to find out. Usually 1 C would not get you rescinded for most school.

Probably the people that know best work in admissions at NYU. Contact them.

Although colleges tend to detest Ds and Fs in your senior year rather than Cs, I’m PRETTY sure they’ll be concerned about your gpa dropping from a 4.06 to a 3.2.

^eh, not so true.
