I recently received my acceptance to Tufts University and through my celebration, I noticed that I had been accepted to the School of Arts and Sciences, when I meant to apply to the school of Engineering with the intention of being a Biomedical Engineer major. I went and checked my common app supplement and I noticed that I had checked the wrong box! I know this was a very stupid mistake to make, but I really want to be in Engineer and really excited about attending Tufts. Is there anything i can do?

Contact admissions and talk to an admissions officer, worst comes to worst you’ll have to transfer schools during your time at Tufts.

You weren’t accepted to the wrong school, you applied to the wrong school lol. Yes, call them tomorrow and ask.

Tufts is different than most schools in that it’s REALLY easy to switch from Arts and Science to Engineering. You just have to get a signature from an advisor or something. So no worries.

I know of past instances - even where no mistake like yours had been made - where they let someone who had been accepted to A&S switch to Engineering before they ever got to Tufts, so I suspect you’ll have no problem.
