I was accepted to UB but I was declined from the college of engineering. What could I possibly do? I am a strong math student but I have a whole spectrum of grades. I have had some slack here and there but Now I am an AP cal ab and AP physics b student. Is there any loophole by starting as undeclared and then going to engineering?

The same thing happened to me. -.-

I had a somewhat similar situation. I wanted to switch my major to business, so I emailed UB and got this reply:

“You will need to speak with an academic advisor in order to change your major at this point. Your advisor should contact you in regards to your schedule and you can also meet with them over orientation. If you have any further questions, feel free to e-mail us again.”

But I personally think that you can. I mean, students usually are undecided and choose their major junior-ish year, right?

Hope I helped a bit And congrats! I’ll be attending UB in the fall too, so I’ll see you there!
