<p>im so estatic for UCLA... very, very happy. But man was UCI a shock. in fact, it was my ONLY safety, and ive gotten into every school so far but irvine. i wanted the option you know? </p>

another friend got rejected from ucsd, into ucla
friend got into notre dame ea, duke likely, also elc but rejected from ucla</p>
<p>another update: my friend who got into rice and notre dame ea got rejected from davis, ucsd and ucla. mind boggling!</p>

<p>hence proving our theory: admissions is almost entirely arbitrary, it's basis as absurd as how much the adcoms like the person or how good of a mood they are in that day</p>
