ACCEPTED to USC!

yeah alot of people who receive scholarships go elsewhere because they're accepted by most every other university they applied to.

Hm. 1200 being considered for Trustee/Presidential?

One Explore USC Event has a max number of students, which is 175.
I believe there are 5 in total (2 for Trustee and 3 for Presidential)?
175x5 = 875?
o_O

I really need a scholarship. lol

these are approximates no precise 1200 or precise 15%, it could 14.8% for all we know, dont worry u probly got quarter tuition

lol well NMF is automatically half tuition..so getting quarter doesn't do me any good? X_x which is why I'd rather know..because then at least I can move on to my other schools. Half tuition is not going to be enough for me to go most likely.

Well, there are also grants, etc.

Because my parents are divorced, my non custodial parents(dad) makes 6x more than my mom does. Thus, it's going to be hard to actually qualify for anything since USC recalculates your EFC (otherwise mine would be 0 from FAFSA). They take into consideration both custodial and noncustodial. Either way, it'd just be good to know. lol thanks though =]

USC freshman profile says there are 462 total for trustee and pres and then lists 209 for NMS which I assume is not included in the 462. So I guess we have either 671 out of the 875 attendees or 462 out of the 875. I'm not a math major, just an engineer, so someone help me out here.

where was this? i got the scholarship letter and admission folder but i didn't see anything with those stats...

profile comes from the USC site for 2006 incoming freshman. 07 maybe diff but it gives you an idea. The question is are the NMS prez's included in the 361, and I assume not. Related Q is whether the attendees include NMS, if not then the comp is 462 to the 875. If the 100 out of 200 holds for trustee then the rest fall into prez pool. Maybe something like 361 out of 675 using 06 #'s. Sounds like a 50% shot anyway you cut it if all these numbers have any validity

I applied to the MSW program at USC .... has anyone heard back from them????

Yippppeeee letter of acceptance Sat the 13th!!! Fight On!

^wow Yippeeeeeee LOL
Congratzzzz!

GG, there is one - the “Any News?” thread and several others.

I could not see the sense in continuing this out of date thread. I know there are other threads available for discussing acceptances.
