So I was able to check online for my acceptance…
You can do this by

  1. Creating a MyUW login (which you are able to do if you applied to the university)
  2. After logging in, on your homepage it should say in bold “UW Seattle Campus Applications:” and underneath it “Freshman Application: autumn quarter 2016” which you can click on and when I did it opened up to my acceptance letter! I still haven’t gotten anything in the mail but it said to be on the lookout.

I’m looking into going to the UW Foster School of Business for International Business as I speak four languages. I’m still waiting to hear back for Freshman Direct.

My stats are 3.9 unweighted HS GPA, and 1850 SAT scores.

@admit4wit yup! Freshmen Direct admissions come out sometime soon, but before may 1st, same with the scholarships

@musicizlyfe no if it says pre-anything it means u didn’t get freshman direct. My major says Electrical engineering which means I got direct admission. My friend had pre-engineering and he applied to the same thing.

You will hear about admission to the University of Washington before the Foster School of Business makes a decision. Foster School of Business offer letters will be sent via email prior to May 1, the date by which most admitted freshmen are required to accept or decline their offer of university admission. Oh okay my mistake. I know it’s that way for engineering DA

It says on your transcript if you got DA or not, I received DA to foster and today received a follow up email.

@LeFish also false though - some people got the “pre-major” thing for CS (that was an error), but later got the CS DA email.

I checked on UW Tacoma page today, My unofficial transcript loaded… I saw Pre-Major Status. So, is that mean I have been admitted?
