Hi everyone, I applied to a four year college as a transfer from my Community college and based on my fall 2013 grades i was accepted! But unfortunately for my spring 2014 classes i dont think i will get great grades (Most likely C's). When i called the 4 year school they told me that i was accepted and that i can send my spring grades in order to get credit for them, My question is i already know that those classes wont transfer over (Change of major from Community to 4 year) so can i choose to just not send those grades? or will they force me to and if they they do receive them is there a possibility that my acceptance will be revoked

I thought you have to send the “Official” Transcript when you transfer.

It’s not like you can use wite- out and remove certain classes so it won’t appear on your transcript.

Colleges generally don’t revoke admissions with passing grades.

Most schools require a final transcript, but you can always call the school, state that the classes won’t transfer, and ask if they still want your final transcript. Either way, you should follow the college’s instructions.

I had originally applied last Spring 2013 but i was denied and retook the classes in the Fall 2013 and then reapplied for Fall 2014 and had sent my Transcript assuming that they would wait for my Current Spring grades to be completed but when i checked today they had accepted me without needing them. Im still waiting for a letter/Email to see if i need to still send my Final transcript but i figured id ask here first

Decisions are usually made before the student has completed all coursework, an acceptance is always contingent upon satisfactory completion of the classes listed on a candidate’s application and a final transcript is expected.
