Accepted: Tulane, Boston College Rejected: USC, Northwestern --How am I looking?

Hey guys,

I'm not gonna bother taking the time to share my stats (In short - about 1400, but GREAT EC's, a lot of volunteer work, Super unique essay, awesome recs..). Instead, the college admissions process is winding down, and, I was hoping that you could tell me (based on where I have been accepted and rejected) where I have a chance out of the schools I have left to hear from (I know that this is super subjective because each college looks for different things, but any ideas you have would be great!).

Accepted:
Tulane
Boston College
Rochester

Rejected:
USC
Georgetown
Northwestern

Do I have any chance at:
Yale
Penn
Duke
Tufts
Cornell
Emory

Thanks in advance :)

Based soley on your exising descisions:

I would think your best bet off of your remaining list is Emory because its just one step or so above BC in terms of selectivity. However, IMO, Emory is at close to parity with Georgetown and USC in tems of selectivity, so your previous negative decisions from these schools do not bode well for a successful outcome at Emory.

Considering the other schools on your list are even more challenging admissions than Emory, I would not be overly optimistic were I in your place.

The good news is that it’s not based on previous decisions, and elite schools have a holistic approach, and everything I offered is likely bunk.
