Halo guys, i am admitted as a tag student for the coming fall 2013 semester. Unluckily, I cannot reach the 3.5 gpa requirement, i ended up getting a 3.47. Want to ask if there still be any chance for me to get it, or i will be rejected automatically.

You’ll be fine. All you needed to do was stay above a 3.0 during spring.

The TAG will be rejected automatically if you try to TAG UCSD right now. But you still have until the end of fall 2013 to get your GPA up its not required by the start of fall its required by the end and they will ask you to update it with your fall grades in January.

I think he’s already been accepted, but his GPA went below the TAG requirement of 3.5. If you got your TAG contract approved last November (2012), then they wanted you to keep your GPA at 3.5 through Fall semester… Once you official got accepted during March, they sent you a new contract stating they wanted a GPA above 3.0. Your GPA didn’t go below 3.0 so you’re fine. Unless you’re talking about TAGing this Fall? Your post suggest you’ve already been accepted.

Mermaker: I know that lol but when he was asking if his TAG would be automatically rejected it made me think maybe he’s asking about the new TAG.

Because if he had been admitted via the 2013 Fall TAG process he would have been explained what you said before. Also he would already have his fall classes so I’m kind of lost as to what he’s really asking but either way we have both bases covered.
