I took a quick look at the Master list to see if there was any interesting patterns in the data. Below are some simple counts of Acceptances/Waitlists/Rejections as reported -- please excuse any miscounts on my part.

Exeter - 26/14/24
Andover - 16/18/20
SPS - 10/22/7
Deerfield - 8/28/2
Groton - 4/9/3
Lawrenceville - 8/7/6
Hotchkiss - 11/13/2
Middlesex - 9/6/1

Obviously this is a very limited sample, but the very high waitlist figures versus acceptances for SPS and Deerfield jumped off the page to me. Groton figures are also high, but the sample is relatively small. I suppose this is a reflection of the individual school admissions policies - very long waitlist rather than an out right rejection. Perhaps an indication of the current economic environment and BS uncertainty/concern about their yields this year, reflected in higher waitlist levels?
