<p>i definitely think essays help out more now than i thought during the application process</p>

<p>well your SAT's are pretty high so I guess they counter each other =) congrats</p>

<p>I definitely think now that JHU pays more emphasis towards SATs than other schools. My SAT was only 2040, but I have AMAZING ECs. I got into Duke, Northwestern, and CMU so far. No rejections yet... My application for each is about equivalent. I don't know what else to say...</p>

<p>i just got rejected with a 3.55 UW gpa in all honors classes and a 2350 SATs and pretty good ECs.. and i applied early too and they deferred me then.. since then i got all As and a B+ in midyears in all APs and honors this year.. wow life sucks.</p>
