Accepted without a test score?

Recently uChicago became a test optional school. Can someone please share their stats if you were one of the people who got accepted without sending any test scores. Can you please talk about your gpa, extracurricular activities, etc. Thank You.

sorry but i can say with absolute certainty that literally nobody has been accepted without submitting scores. read closely → https://collegeadmissions.uchicago.edu/empower

I’m thinking you better walk on water in some other facet of your application if you want to pull this off.

“spent my formative years in a refugee camp where I lead a group of orphans through the paperwork maze to their sponsor families in west Beverley Hills. Only being there one year, and knowing little English on day one, graduated with a 4.0 as did 5 of my fellow refugees who I tutured. It was only then did I discover this “SAT test” and it was too late to take.” Or you’ve helped cure cancer. Or you were the brains behind AirBnB. If you don’t have a story along those lines, I’d suggest taking the test.

Disclaimer: that is my unprofessional opinion.

OP can say they want to major in art history.

AirBnB was a RISD grad. Wouldn’t use that one.
