Accepted without interview?

The website stresses the importance of an interview.Has anyone here gotten accepted without an interview? We just missed the alumni interview deadline!

Don’t worry! I was accepted regular decision without an interview. For reference I live about 5 hours away from Hamilton, so I certainly could have interviewed on campus or off campus. Just make sure you stress why you belong at Hamilton. A large part of my essay dealt with details from my visit to the school and how that motivated me to apply. Not to dismiss the importance of the interview (and not to put you on edge) but all of my friends did interview, but it’s certainly possible to get in without one. Just show interest. Also, as a hint: Hamilton looks for very active students. Everyone’s passionate about something. The interview gives you an option to show that, so make sure you still focus on this when you complete your application. Good luck and I hope to see you on the Hill next year!

As of last year Hamilton had availability for video interview. It was pretty easy as you could see questions ahead of time and re-do the video as many times as you wanted to. May be worth checking

Thank you both for the insight!
