Ok, first of all…your stats are great. There’s really not much you could have done better and still be human. Your only problem is being asian. I hate to say this, but since you’re asian, an overrepresented minority, you will be held to higher standards. I certainly think you deserve getting in to Harvard with such amazing test scores, ECs and ranking but the fact of the matter is that many asian applicants have 2400 SAT and 4.0 GPA. Besides, you already got into Yale so you really shouldn’t be complaining…:)

^ Haha I know, I’m not complaining  I really love Yale, it’s now just a matter of comparing financial aid packages and spending more time on campuses :)

Thanks for the chances! I feel like I should probably clarify though, debate is my biggie EC. I have a ton of national/state/regional awards there… if that helps any?

oh AND- if you don’t think I could be human, check out christiansoldier’s profile XP 2400, straight 800s on subject tests, and straight 5s on 14 APs, I believe. or something ridic like that.

Very good–Yale gives you an excellent read.

What do you want us to say?

Getting in Yale SCEA pretty much means you’ve got a good shot at these other schools, which is about all you can ask for considering how competitive things have gotten

No chance. Sorry but you’re just not good enough. Your GPA and SAT are solid but a 3 on an AP? Really?! ECs are mediocre at best with a significant lack of service.

I’d give up, mate

Confused92 are you serious? A 3 on one
AP isn’t going to kill her especially with
The fact that she took 10+sps. And not
Good enough?? Yale certainly thinks so
You have a great chance at the other ivies
If your essays are great you’ll def be in
Best of luck

cloud8, I think Confused92 was being sarcastic with his/her post!!
OP, great chance! Congrats on SCEA Yale :)

I’m guessing that you’ll get into all of them.

You’re already into Yale, which is as selective as the schools you mentioned (if not more so, especially in the early round). Your application on the whole is incredible… and you’re from Utah. That geographical diversity helps a lot. I really doubt that there are many (if any) applicants from your state with better credentials.

Good luck with the rest of your applications.

thanks guys  leave a link if you want me to chance back!
